Oregon Lottery Photoshoot for 150th Ticket

Last week I had a photoshoot for the 150th Cash Explosion ticket campaign that I am working on for the OR Lottery. We wanted a rustic-like log setting in a tight timeframe, so we decided on the Doug Fir Lounge.

Here is an interior shot of the location. Pretty cool interior design (for such a sketchy part of town).

Our campaign revolves around the idea of Sasquatch in front of a birthday cake. I chose in-house talent for the shoot. My selection was the biggest fan of Sasquatch that I know at the Lottery, Jerry Dezsofi, from Promotions. Here he is getting into his costume (and into character). :)

Our photographer, Todd Eckleman, getting Jerry ready for the shoot.

We commissioned two cakes for the shoot. This one is a great two-tier design based on a Martha Stewart reference that I had found. (Patrick, Todd's assistant, in the background.)

Here is a "behind the scenes" pic of Todd capturing a shot.

I love this expression :)

We had SO much fun on this shoot!!! This is a pic of Todd, photographer, and Susan, stylist, grabing handfuls of cake and applying frosting to Sasquatch's face to make it look like he had just dove into it. We felt like kids being able to do this. The great part is that we didn't get "in trouble" for it. Very fun!!! (Even copywriter, Ashley Moran, and myself joined in the fun of grabbing a few handfuls of cake after the shot!)
